ADL Enviro 200MCC

There were never any new ADL products in the Rotala/Diamond Bus fleets until 2024 when new vehicles were ordered for the first tranche of TfGM franchises. Up to them most new vehicles came from the Wrights range of vehicles. This is not to say the company has not operated ADL products but all have been either purchased second hand or acquired with the purchase of other bus companies. Following the delivery of the second batch of new ADL single deckers for Manchester a number of additional vehicles have been purchased for both the Preston and West Midlands operations. To tie in with the stat of new TfWM contracts in the West Midlands from Sunday 5th January 2025 3 brand new ADL single deckers were put into service from the Tividale depot. The vehicles arrived in dealer white  and were put straight into service.

20646/7/8/9/50 - SN66WHK/L/M/J/R  

In September 2016 Moffat & Williamson who based in St Fort in Scotland took delivery of 7 ADL 200MCC vehicles. The first 6 were 30 seat vehicles and were registered SN66WHH/J/K/L/M/P with 7th vehicle a 40-seater registered SN66WHR. All 7 remained with Moffat & Williamson until early 2025 when they were withdrawn. The 6 30 seat vehicles were sold to the dealer the Bus and Coach Centre in Oxfordshire. They in turn sold them to Diamond Bus in February 2025 who have added them to their West Midlands operation.  In the event only 20646 and 20647 joined the Rotala fleet as brand new vehicles of the same type were acquired instead. The new ADL Enviro 200MCC vehicles taking the fleet numbers 20648-50 joined the Preston rather than Diamond Bus fleet.

In recent months Rotala have been able to take advantage of available ADL vehicles so to meet contractual requirements further new vehicles have joined the wider fleet.

In March 2026 Diamond Bus started to take delivery of a batch of 21 brand new Enviro 200 vehicles. The first seven vehicles entered service on 1st March, with the remaining 14 joining the fleet over the next few weeks. Six of the new vehicles were allocated to the Redditch depot to operate the services 98/99 in the Solihull area. Many of the remaining vehicles will be allocated to the Tividale depot to operate both the recently won contract for the Service 19 from Merry Hill to the QE Hospital and the soon to be operated service 27 which will run between Solihull and Rubery. remainder will be operating across a variety of other West Midlands-based routes.
